The ultimate lean to roof the MP500 is an inexpensive roof glazing system utilising 600mm wide POLYCARBONATE sheets which are 35mm thick. The MP500 has been specifically designed for lean to conservatory roofing.It is also very versatlie accomadating roof pitches as low as 2.5 degrees ideal for those tight spots where hieght is a problem (maximum pitch 15 degrees. it has been designed to be installed by one person engineered to span upto 4 metres |

All roof packs come complete with installation guides which can be found packed with the wall plate (first item to be fitted) simply read the instruction booklet and follow guide lines in order and you will find the MP500 easy to do For a quick guide see below |

STEP 1 When your roof arrives find the wall pate box and read the full instructions |
|
STEP 2 Drill the wall plate and fix to the wall ensuring it is level |
|
STEP 3 Drill and fix the upvc wall flashing using back slot for 2.5 pitch front slot for 15 degree pitch |
|
STEP 4 Apply flashing lead or flash band as normal (not supplied) |
|
STEP 5 Start glazing the roof at one end by fixing edge bar first |
|
TIPS Glazing bars are designed to be installed with upvc under clad in placeWhen cutting sheets to length make sure sheet is pushed fully into wall plate |

STEP 6 Fix an intermediate glazing bar and feed first panel into postion slide into wall plate |
|
STEP 7 Fit cappings to end bar and intermediate bar use soft faced hammer |
|
STEP 8 Taking care to fit top gaskets as you go repeat for entire lenght of roof.Fixing last panel same as first |
|
STEP 9 Fit the end closures to the panels fit gutter brackets and glazingbar end caps |
|
STEP 10 The under clad of the wall plate can now be fitted |
